Promotions of Penny Stocks Online for Wednesday, November 23,2011: MCVE, CSOC, CRWE, HKN

In general, the global penny stock trade is inevitably affected by the shower of stock promotions which pours on penny stock investors every single day. PennyArena provides a daily update on the major paid stock promotions which were initiated prior to the start of the trading session, so that penny stock traders will be able to make better investment decisions.

Today, stock promoters don't seem very active, still there are a couple of paid campaigns which are worth noticing.

MacroSolve, Inc. (PINK:MCVE) and Caduceus Software Systems Corp. (OTC:CSOC) MCVE and CSOC were both featured in a newsletter from Penny Stock General. The newsletters were titled "MCVE and CSOC may be ready to explode off the bottom". However, it must be noted that the promoter had received compensation which makes it easier to unlock such pompous words. The disclaimer shows that Penny Stock General had been compensated $5,000 for MCVE and $2,500 for CSOC. Both MCVE and CSOC were last promoted on Nov. 11 and both stocks have crashed since then.

Crown Equity Holdings Inc (OTC:CRWE) CRWE is a promoter itself, who holds various promotional websites. Today, it was featured in its own newsletter, which announced that the company had "entered into a letter of intent" with AVIX Technologies, Inc.

HKN, Inc. (NYSEAMEX:HKN) Today, the promotional newsletters also featured a higher tier company. HKN was promoted by Wall Street Grand and Lebed. The newsletter of Lebed directed the readers to a link with a generic disclaimer which didn't specify whether there was any compensation for the campaign. On the other hand, Wall Street Grand explicitly declared that he was not compensated for the newsletter.

*Penny stocks investors should be extremely careful with promoted stocks as they become more volatile than usual. If market speculators still want to participate in the promotion they are advised to enter and exit the stock at the opening bell as quickly as possible.

  1. When you buy a stock like Wallmart Mcdonald's or Apple computer or Wallgreens you are buying very good well run companies. But because of the popularity of these stocks they are not great value investments. The vast majority of your gains when you buy these stocks comes from dividends not captial gains. In other words when you are investing in a very popular mature company most if not all of your gains comes from your dividends. To get lots of potential capital appreciation from your stocks you must look for companies that are very much out of favor and not widely followed as these high profile blue chips.
