Amarantus BioSciences Inc (OTC:AMBS) will be on a promotional ground today as indicated by on-line promotional databases. Nevertheless, while promoters attribute AMBS to the awesome penny stocks family, we shall take a detailed look on the campaign.
Early in the morning a newsletter dedicated to the company arrived in the promotional on-line archives.The letter had been sent by Green baron which is a promotional website owned by Evergreen Marketing Inc.
The disclosure section of the letter revealed that the promoter had received $4.500 for the service. There was no mention about the paying party, though.
On Friday last week, there was a conspicuous enlivenment among the traders of AMBS stock. On that session the generated volume exceeded 150 thousand shares and the stock finished 30% higher at $0.195.
That session was an exception of the rule, because AMBS stock has been prevailed by low trades for the last couple of months. That is reflected by the 3-month average daily volume indicator which has dropped down to 80 thousand shares.
The forthcoming promotion will obviously try to bring more attention to the stock. However, even if trading volume increases for a while, there is no telling what effect the promotion will have on the share price.
